Annie’s Salon, a unisex hair salon located in South West London, has always stood out for its welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, offering more than just beauty services by fostering a space of mental freedom and warmth. Despite its longstanding presence, the salon had not fully embraced branding, a gap they aimed to fill while also wanting to revive connections with their existing audience and attract new people.
In February 2024, we began our collaboration with Annie’s Salon. Our journey started with a thorough discussion with Annie, the salon's owner, to grasp her vision for the salon’s branding direction. Following this, we crafted the Brand Essential Guidelines, where we developed logos, brand stamps, selected color schemes, and typography that echoed the salon’s essence.
With the branding foundation in place, we shifted focus to mapping out a social media strategy and creating Canva templates to ensure content continuity and adherence to the newly established aesthetic.
The implementation phase marked a significant milestone, as the rebranding was warmly received on social media. Our efforts led to a 25% increase in followers reached, aligning with Annie’s goal of re-engaging with her existing audience. Additionally, we witnessed a 344% rise in the reach among non-followers and a 234% surge in overall engagement, indicating a successful stride towards expanding the salon's visibility and community engagement.
