Our collaboration with Nouvelles began in June 2024 with an in-depth discussion with salon owner Amy, focusing on her goals and vision for the salon's Instagram presence. We agreed that developing a comprehensive Social Media Strategy was crucial to ensure our efforts were aligned with clear objectives. Additionally, we recognized the importance of equipping Nouvelles with custom Canva templates for creating graphic posts when needed. Having also discussed the clients' need for more organic content, we decided a content day in the salon was in order. 

We devised a plan, a shoot list and an overall look and feel guide for our content day, packed up our equipment and headed to the salon where we were able to gather all the photo and video content we needed.

With these foundational tasks completed, we moved into the implementation phase. The results were impressive, with the salon's reach growing to 5.9k in the first month, 70% of which came from non-followers—an increase of 1,982%. We also saw a nearly 50% rise in profile visits compared to the previous period. Most notably, there was an 8,566% increase in engagement, validating our strategic approach to creating highly engaging content.
